Overview

VHS Heaven respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the site and how we treat it.

Information we collect

The site is statically generated and hosted like a normal website. We do not run accounts or logins, and we do not aim to build profiles of individual readers.

• Site search: Search runs in your browser against a JSON index loaded from our server. Your queries are not sent to a separate “search service” for indexing.
• No user accounts: Registration and login are not required.
• Newsletter: The footer may show a newsletter field for future use. Unless we explicitly launch a list and link to signup terms, we do not collect or store addresses from that UI.

Analytics

We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics scripts. If that changes, we will update this page and summarize what is collected.

Third-party services

Movie metadata and images may come from The Movie Database (TMDB) and can be loaded from their infrastructure when you view posters or related data. See TMDB’s privacy policy for their practices.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

External links

Reviews may link to streaming services, databases, or other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices — check their policies before you share personal data there.

Server logs

Like most hosts, our provider may keep standard access logs (for example IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and operations. We do not use those logs to sell personal data.

Children’s privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
